4 Hour TNA Knockouts Special on Spike TV on New Year's Eve!

Finally, the mainstream wrestling world is doing something right!

TNA Wrestling is giving the TNA Knockouts, a group of very sexy female wrestlers and divas, a 4 hour special this Thursday December 31st.

It's about time the women get the spotlight!

However, I feel like the Divas are being "dissed" just a bit by scheduling this event on New Year's Eve.   I will be out partying like it's 1999.    So will many other people.  However, my Tivo will be recording.

Make sure yours is as well!

I really think it's important for catfight and female wrestling fans to come out and help jack the ratings up when the Knockouts and Divas are wrestling in that ring.    I personally make it a point to watch only if I know a female match is taking place.   WWE and TNA both. Then, I turn the channel when the match is complete.   :)

Why is it important?

Because I think if the nation had it's pick between watching men in tights OR equally talented females in tights...they would most certainly chose the females.

Now with that said.............come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn TNA Divas!

Give us a show!

Give us something to remember.    Finish your opponent with a tight headscissors while laughing.    Trap your victim in a tight facesit pin and hold them there for a while as they break "2" counts as you smile at the fans.  Velvet Sky could apply a killer breastsmother as could Lacey Von Erich

Female Wrestling isn't about high flying moves........................it's about being sexy!

I don't care if you can jump around like Rey Mysterio.  I care little if you can bodyslam Hulk Hogan.

Guys watch female wrestling...........not for the competitive aspect.........but because the idea of two women tangling.........generally...........with a clear winner........is just incredibly appealing on many levels.

Sure, that's just my opinion.    But I would bet the farm that is also the opinion of enough people to finally push your ratings up where they should be.   You have a great opportunity and you can thank me later for my sound advice.

Fans!
Tune in this Thursday night and give them a watch!

-Johnny Ringo-

PS. Late edit. Now I read the entry off the TNA website, and they are going to be intermixing PPV footage with the ladies action. That kills my whole article here. What is it with these people anyway? They don't "get it".

Catfight Report Movie Review: Fatal Attraction

CATFIGHT REPORT MOVIE REVIEW:
FATAL ATTRACTION

There is attraction............but then..............there is......... "Fatal Attraction".

By means of the terminology one could surmise that the latter could get one killed.

This story of Fatal Attraction is the name of the movie.   A new movie by the name of Obsessed, which was reviewed by the Catfight Report here, seems to have taken a page out of this storyline.    You see, the issue here is that the male star of Fatal Attraction............Michael Douglas...........just can't seem to keep his peter in his pants.

He ends up cheating on his wife, with a character named Alex played by Glenn Close, and then Glenn Close ends up having a "Fatal Attraction" for Michael Douglas.............in a formula so predictable even a small boy could figure out what follows.

Obviously, we could care less about the story or the production quality of the movie.    All we care about is the catfight that occurs at the end of the film between Alex (Glenn Close) and the wife of Michael Douglas............played by the character Beth...........Anne Archer.

After repeated attempts by Glenn Close's character in the movie to re-ignite the fire with Michael Douglas.....it just isn't meant to be.    He doesn't return her calls, he moves away, and she continues to
chase.   Finally, when it becomes clear that Glenn's character will not sway Michael's love........she targets Anne Archer's character as the total and complete object of her scorn and jealously.

Therefore, the set up is about as good as it can get!    A HUGE catfight seems to be on the horizon?

Right?

Right?

Wrong.

Glenn Close's character (Alex) tries to use a KNIFE on (Beth) Anne Archer in the bathroom.   No female superiority.  No domination of the other female.   Nothing cool and exciting.   Just a knife.   This is after Glenn had been extremely physical and tough throughout the movie.

Glenn takes a couple of slicy jabs with her knife and Anne Archer nails her with a big punch and they tangle on the floor briefly.

That's it.

Some review, huh?

I have to give Glenn Close credit however.   She was a very tough and aggressive bitch in this movie.

Other than that, mark this movie down as another example of Hollywood missing out on what could have been in all time classic catfight!

CATFIGHT REPORT RATING:    1 OUT OF 10

Want to purchase the movie so you can see this less than stellar, at best, 5 second catfight?

Kim and Ginny's Celebrity Fight Stories has a new bulletin board location

Just wanted to let all you story fans out there know that Kim and Ginny's old board is no longer active.

They have moved to "Hostboard" and here is the NEW url:

A writer describes the LFL (Lingerie Football League)

If you were not a fan of females in lingerie mixing it up out on the football field.......... you will be after this detailed and spot on review.

You can search for Lingerie Football League (LFL) games on youtube.    Here is a 10 minute clip of the team Desire taking on Temptation.   (Meow)

Here is the first part of the aforementioned article.

You can read the rest by clicking the link at the end.

For many years, football fans have bought the Lingerie Bowl pay per views. 2009 the people behind the yearly event decided to have an entire league to decide who will play. On the surface the idea of this as a professional league seemed strange.

Many wondered if it would be worth watching. Not so much for the clothing (or the limited amount there is.) but for the quality of play. Would they be too soft struggling to tackle? Would it be mostly fumbles and interceptions? Some even wondered (myself included) if it was all just “Sports Entertainment”. (Like WWE or TNA)

Considering many in the league have worked as models, Jackie Danico is a model & actress who once appeared in Maxim. Others look to have worked night clubs with clear heels and poles.

Well even with all this, I had to see my self. I decided to attend a Philadelphia Passion home game. (Playing home games in the newly re-named, Sun Center in Trenton, NJ.) Since the first home game was in conflict with the last nights of the Spectrum, I failed to make it. So I had to wait for the second home game for 2009 on December 11th.

He describes his experience further in the article below:

Understanding the Catfight Fetish - Part 1

There are those of us in life who like to ask big questions.

Some of us want to know the truth at any cost.

There are many people in this world that "must" know the question of "why" something is. The answer is not only for ourselves but for future generations.

Asking the simple question "why" brings about entire new worlds of possibilities for the true truth seeker.  Therefore, a question that has interested me for quite some time is the following:

"Why do I like catfights?"

Namely, "what is it" that I find so compelling or attractive about two women fighting or wrestling each other?

When I first asked this question, I figured there would be a universal answer.

At this point in the journey I'm going to go out on a limb and say I was WRONG.

The reasons are as numerous as the stars in the sky from what I have gathered at this point.   It seems the more I learn on this subject the harder it becomes to pin this question down.    This is why I want to avoid, the best I can, making ultimately definitive judgements or statements on the subject.

I have been sitting on writing this essay for well over a year now and I have learned much since that time.

I am a still learning and progressing human being, each year that goes by I seem to be smarter than last year, and want to leave the best advice possible for current and future generations who find themselves asking this same question.

To start things off, I asked a very intelligent friend of mine his opinion on fetishes and his answer was very blunt.

He stated that a fetish is "what you get off to".

I said, well, ok.    There is certainly some truth in that.

However, I enjoy the actual women involved themselves as well, (as opposed to simply the "idea" of them) and they don't have to be "catfighting" for me to get off.  I've had sex with quite a few females in my lifetime so I know that they don't have to be catfighting or wrestling to get me excited.

However!    It sure does help!   Those females that tapped into my little fetish, knowingly or unknowingly, I performed much better with.   No question about it.

But, I digress a bit on my friend's blunt answer.   As I get older.....I find my tastes become a bit more extreme.   I am 30 years old at the time of this writing.   Not as great shape as I was a few years ago, but I still have a decent body, I'm still clean cut, and I know how to converse effectively with other females.

My tastes are becoming very defined.   I would prefer a female that is "into this" as much as I am.   I am constantly testing girls that I date to see how they respond when I want to "wrestle" and things of that nature.

Example:   There was a time when two females could lightly play slap each other and I would get rock hard aroused.   Nowadays, I might get a semblance of a hard on, but I really like a good nude facesit.   Or a tight breastsmother.  That is what gets me rock hard.    The idea of the superior woman of my choice dominating her helpless opponent physically, mentally, and even genetically in a sense is an incredible turn on.

For instance, if the hottest cheerleader on the team simply thrashed an ugly or gothic looking girl in a catfight.........I would find that very sexy.    Maybe it's a social hierarchy type of thing, or simply confirmation of the jealousy such a creature as a hot cheerleader receives.     In my mind, she deserves the adulation and the jealousy.

Why?

She is the "hot" cheerleader.    As one of my favorite WWE divas used to say.............."This is for all the women that want to be me.................and the men..............who came to see me!   The idea of this "cheerleader type" imposing her "dominance" against lesser females is just a sexual thrill that I still can't even fully describe or understand.   On one hand, it could be considered quite sickening for a person to think like this, and on the other hand, it's very erotic in my own mind.

It's important to understand that not all female wrestling or catfight watchers experience the same likes or dislikes in what they want to see.

I use the cheerleader and the goth for example purposes only.    There are many examples and scenarios like this that I enjoy mixing and matching against in my own head.    Short vs tall, Strong vs weak, White vs Black, so on, and so on, and so on, and so on.

The female on female physical action, the domination (sometimes) involved, the idea of one woman being completely superior to the other is just over the top appealing to me.    It is the peak performance gasoline that gets my locomotive running.

Despite that, if a brute of a woman destroys a lesser woman it does little for me if she looks like a man or is literally the size of an ox.  For others, that is their "forte".    It is not mine.   The fans of this "fetish" are very different indeed.

So, my small description above of "what I like", varies GREATLY from person to person out there.

What I have learned this past year or so is that "fetishes".........if you wish to call this a fetish, which could be a bad description, are as numerous as the people that fill the earth.   Fetishes are common amongst almost everyone it seems.    What is most likely not common in real life is the discussion of fetishes or the discovery of fetishes in many relationships since we live in a very hypersensitive world.

I started posting on various web boards around the internet in 2008 getting feelers from like minded individuals on this very question that the title of this article poses.   I posted on many catfight and female wrestling boards, and I even tried to find some boards that dealt with psychology to try to piece and glue together the various answers that are out there.

One common claim is that men enjoy women who are dominant. Essentially, you could even consider it Darwinian if you will. Much of it has to do with "who is the superior woman" for my best guess.

Perhaps, it is something genetic from our past.

I can say for myself only, that is what I "indeed" find sexy. But for me, superiority does not always consist of simply physical strength. I find it very sexy when a skinny, curvy girl destroys a girl that is much stronger or heavier than her.

For others, they prefer the exact opposite or multiple variations thereof.

But, a theme is applied in "my" case. Dominance, and/or, superiority.    However, I personally enjoy matches that are one-sided in nature while others simply do not enjoy a match unless it's extremely competitive all the way to the very end.

Some have also claimed that the intensity involved when females wrestle or fight evokes a kind of "sexual passion"  in interested bystanders who are watching.  Two women fighting over a man can easily have this type of effect.

One common theme that you will find with a lot of fans of the catfight-female wrestling fetish is that they generally do not want to see the losing girl killed or maimed. Blood, nor disfigurement, is generally the goal, as most humans keep things strictly in the fantasy world when it comes to loving catfights and female combat.

For example, many catfight fans have stated that if they saw two girls catfight....... "for real"......they would break it up. Whether this is due to genuine concern for the girls, or social pressures, I do not know.   In my own case, I know it's a combination of both depending on the ever various circumstances that life seems to throw at us.

For instance, I would not let my girlfriend get whipped in a catfight.

I would care little about how sexy her opponent is.

It's good to keep in mind that some people enjoy the winner of the fight, and others watch because they empathize and "connect" with the loser of the fight. And, this catfight "fetish" is not confined to men alone.
Many women enjoy watching and participating in catfights as well.  For some, it is sexual, and for others, it is the competitive nature that thrills them rather than a sexual one.

Is this an evolutionary primal trait?  Essentially, a figment of our animalistic instinct?  A desire that has evolved or stayed with us over time?   But........I must ask........what about the people out there (numerous) that DO NOT enjoy two women fighting?

What about those who don't enjoy fighting or wrestling at all?

Perhaps the evolutionary gene traveled with some......... but not others?    Indeed.   Some are gay, some are lesbian, some want to be both.    Examples abound.

Again, this is a big question.    I realize I am jumping around.  There are many angles and paradigms to consider.   Do we lean more towards the scientific angles, or religious angles, or should we even ask this question at all?

As you can see, I respect this question.    I want the real answer or answers.   I don't want to make vast assumptions based on my own limited experiences in this world.   This is a big world.   There are a lot of you out there who are exactly like me in this regard with variations on your ultimate thrill.    Male and Female alike.

That is why this essay is labeled Part 1.

I will return for Part 2 when I have formulated enough that I personally deem worthy to be Part 2 if I ever get that far.

Part 2 is going to require your assistance.    Please leave your intelligent thoughts and opinions in the comments box below.    I would like this to be something we can build upon to gather more understanding on this subject that consumes so much of our mental, physical, and even sexual energies.

Leave a comment on this issue, not only for yourself, but for others who will be reading this down the line.  I think this is a good conversation to engage in whether you are a big fan of all this or not, because the more opinions that we have here, the more we will have to build off of.

This Month's Catfight Report Poll: Christina Aguilera vs Pink

One website reports:
On July 28th 2009

Pink is trying to stir up some girl on girl action. She pretty much claimed that Christina Aguilera likes to check out chicas and once told Pink that she wouldn’t mind hooking up with Lindsay Lohan.

Pink claimed:
“You know she said something like ‘ I could get it on with her any time’ and you just so knew she meant it.”

Lindsay’s reply?
“She knows where I live.”

(Catfight Report's reply:   That's hot)

One of Christina Aguilera’s unnamed friends reports claim came to her defense:

“It is absurd, the very heterosexual Christina is involved in a relationship with a man and is currently concentrating on being a mother. I couldn’t think of anything less of interest to her. Pink again trying to get attention, she has always been jealous of Christina’s looks and is once again trying to bait her.”

Source:
http://bunnywithfangs.com/2009/07/28/pink-accuses-xtina-of-being-a-lesbian/

Another website reports:
date unknown

We have Christina Aguilera taking a swipe at Pink, claiming the "Trouble" singer's recent lesbian-like behavior is a direct copy of the on-air smooching between Britney Spears, Madonna, and herself. She was quoted in London saying that recent pictures of Pink and T3 star Kristanna Loken showed that she was just continuing to mimic her.

Christina replied:
"When has Pink not been copying me?" she reportedly asked. "In her fashion and so on, it's always like 'Gosh, I just wore that last week.'"

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Are these the ingredients for an explosive Hollywood catfight that could be potentially brewing?

(or simply wishful thinking on the Catfight Report's part?)

Since we are good citizens at the Catfight Report, and since we think that Christina Aguilera and Pink would make for a hot matchup, we feel it is our duty to make public a question that has been burning our mind as of late.

If Pink and Christina Aguilera engaged in a one on one, no holds barred, hair pulling, face punching, screaming and kicking fight to the finish............who would be the girl on top when the smoke clears?

Who would you want to win?

And most importantly..................why?

Would you choose:

Pink

Height:   5'3"
Weight:  120lbs (guessed approx)
Date of Birth:  September 8, 1979 (1979-09-08) (age 30)

What do you say?

What do you think?

Please cast your vote on the left hand side of this screen and please leave your comments below on who you think would be the winner and why!

**Disclaimer** The fights suggested here on these polls are simply using reality to create fantasy scenarios. In no way do we encourage the females we mention to suddenly engage in sudden catfights unless it's in a place where it's lawful (doubtful) or one (or both) of the females has enough money to pay the legal fees. :) :)

A Woman describes her Husband's Catfight Fetish

Found this through Google the other day and thought I would share this with Catfight Report readers.

Ladies!  Learn from this woman.  :)

Gentleman!  Likewise.  :)

My Husband's Catfight Fetish Ch. 01
Chapter 1: The Discovery

Like most women who know about their husbands' catfight fetish, I discovered Eric's interest by stumbling onto his cache of videos and dvds. He was out-of-town on business, and I was determined to investigate the contents of a locked cabinet, which he claimed held only business papers.

When I'd finally worked the lock open, I was surprised. I was expecting love letters from former girlfriends or maybe even a current mistress, not a media extravaganza. As I popped the first disc into the dvd player, I couldn't imagine why he was hiding movies from me. After all, I'd even shown some enthusiasm for his "manly" action films and think Jean Claude is a hotty!

When the first scene materialized before me—two women, rolling around on a living room rug, pulling hair and ripping each other's clothes to shreds—I was flabbergasted. What did this mean? Was Eric having an affair with one of these women? Were they fighting over him?

Spellbound, I previewed disc after disc and videotape after videotape, and it became clear that even my husband's sexual stamina couldn't sustain him through all these women. Besides, some were clearly not his type, and some, to be honest, looked frankly as if they had quite a few miles on them.

A few of the movies seemed to reflect some thought in the development of plot or scenario, with the women discussing their differences before throwing down. Some were obviously straightforward wrestling matches or boxing matches, a few with referees; while still others depicted two women entering a room and immediately beginning to tear and claw at each other with no prompting at all.

In the best of them, the acting was convincing; but, in the worst, the two women just seemed to roll around and barely suppress their laughter. In several, I was convinced that there was no acting at all; and this genre often led to bloody noses and split lips.

I'm not a naïve woman. After an hour or so of watching—barely making a dent in Eric's collection—I felt I'd put together the most likely hypothesis: my husband had a catfight fetish! Of course, I knew that most men enjoyed the idea of this sort of thing. How else would one account for all the titillating commercials, whenever a catfight was written into the script of a movie or TV show?

Read the rest and please leave your comments here!

Sizzling Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly describes a high school catfight

Megyn Kelly - A Catfighter?

Source:
The Real Catfight Alert Yahoo Group

From poster Ed Stips:

Megyn Kelly, a blonde hottie who is the co-host with Bill Hemmer of America's Newsroom on the Fox News Channel, recently related the details of a catfight she got into while in high school.

Megyn, who was a sophomore when the incident occurred, had a confrontation with a senior in the girls' locker room. After some hostile words, Ms. Kelly started the fight by punching the other girl, who retaliated with a punch of her own.

The combatants then went into a clinch and fell to the floor, where they wrestled and rolled around until the gym teacher broke the bout up. Megyn says she was wearing her cheerleader uniform when the incident occurred.

No word on what her unidentified opponent had on. A clip of Megyn Kelly giving her account of the girl fight to a spellbound Bill Hemmer during an edition of America's Newsroom is available on YouTube.

Watch below:

Catfight Alert - The Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans - Eva Mendes vs Jennifer Coolidge

We have been waiting to see Eva Mendes in a good catfight!

Hopefully, this movie will pan out.

Actress Jennifer Coolidge plays what she calls a "bloated alcoholic" in the movie and reveals to ET that her costar Eva is one tough woman.

"I was so exhausted after fighting with Eva because she's really strong, and we had to fight over some drugs in a purse," Jennifer describes a scene from the movie. "She tired me out. ... She has more energy than I have."

Old Newspapers that mention Female Fighting from the 1800's

I was doing a search through Google and checking various keywords like "catfight" and "female wrestling" and "female fighting" and on and on and on.

Didn't come up with much from the past, but did come up with a couple of links to share of small newspaper clips of interest.

The first one is from a publication called the "Nelson Evening Mail" and it is dated May 8th 1880!
http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&d=NEM18800508.2.20

At the link above, scroll down the page until you get to the headline that reads:
"A Female Fight"

The 2nd link here is from a publication called the "Wanganui Herald" and it is dated August 10th 1889!
http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/cgi-bin/paperspast?a=d&d=WH18890810.2.17

At the link above the writer briefly describes a female fight that took place.

Both articles confirm one thing.    They liked female fighting back in the 1800's just like they do today!

Who in their right mind doesn't love a good catfight?

Meow!

A Soccer Chick with an Attitude

Just found this little tidbit today on a website called "PhillyBurbs".

This soccer girl seems to like it "rough".

And since she likes it "rough"...........perhaps someone can convince her to join DWW Wrestling where she can "get rough" with other females all she wants.   :)

This Month's Catfight Report Poll - "The Kat" Stacy Carter vs "The She Devil" Terri Runnels

You know you have dreamed about this.

Any man...........or woman............who ever watched Terri Runnels and Stacy Carter go one on one in the ring has almost certainly been "turned on" in some form or fashion.

Pitting these two against one another was one of Vince McMahon's best moves.    Not only were both women extremely easy to look at, but they both drastically improved in the ring, and became very entertaining performers.

All that is fine and dandy.    There is no need to continue with the adulations and congratulations that both of these women most certainly deserve.

We are not here to give adulations.    We are here to ask a question.
1 question.

If Terri Runnels and Stacy Carter decided to wrestle
FOR REAL
.............
who would emerge as the winner?

No scripts, no frills........just the best woman......in a wrestling match with pin counts and/or submissions.

Who do you think would emerge as the winner and why?

Would you choose:

Terri Runnels

Terri "The She Devil" Runnels

Billed Height: 5'0"
Billed Weight: 105lbs

OR

Stacy Carter:

Stacy "The Kat" Carter
Billed Height:   5'3"
Billed Weight:  105lbs

Your Catfight Report vote......................your Catfight Report call.
And please leave those comments!
(the voting box is on the left hand side of this page)

Kim Couture and Lisa Marie Varon Insist Recent Pro Wrestling Catfight Was Real

Hot, hot, and hot.

Kim Couture showed up at Sunday's TNA Bound for Glory and was going to be a part of a small angle with Lisa Marie Varon where they would perform a small staredown in the ring.

Reports claim Kim did not make it in time but was still present ringside during the Women's championship match.   The two did meet, unexpectantly, if you believe reports, as Victoria fell near to where Kim was standing.

Kim "nudged" Lisa Marie in the back and a short shoving match ensued.

Both women claim this altercation was real but they have since made up.    Many feel this may be an angle as Lisa Marie Varon has stated in the recent past that she has a strong interest in MMA.

Kim Couture vs Lisa Marie Varon would surely be a huge draw.

At the Catfight Report............we suggest TNA wrestling get with the program.

Let's see Lisa Marie Varon and Kim Couture............for real...........non-scripted........in an MMA matchup.........on a future PPV.

Lisa has a size advantage but Kim most likely has the experience advantage.

Who do you think would come out on top if these two indeed do go at it in the future?

Kim Couture?

OR

Lisa Marie Varon?

Catfight Report Exclusive Interview: Eric Etebari - The Director of Bare Knuckles

CATFIGHT REPORT EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:
ERIC ETEBARI

THE DIRECTOR OF BARE KNUCKLES

Learn more about Eric at his website:

http://www.eric-etebari.com

Learn about Eric and his acting career at Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Etebari

Eric Etebari is no stranger to Hollywood but this is his first time producing a movie. The Catfight Report was quite interested in talking to this gentleman because he is covering a subject that is very near and dear to all of us.

Female Fighting.  :)

Eric was kind enough to take some time out of his busy schedule to answer some questions we whipped up for him. We were extremely impressed with his answers and this is a guy to keep tabs on in the near future and you can read why below.

1.   Where did the idea for the movie Bare Knuckles come from?

Eric Etebari:  I believe the original writer was inspired when he saw two girls going at it in a catfight in his neighborhood. He was so taken by how tough, brave and hot these chicks were and they weren't just pulling hair. I took the script and rewrote it.   I was inspired by a true story about an amazing woman I know (Jeanette Roxobrough) that has defied the odds and has done what ever it takes to help her daughter walk. Even if it means tying up her hair, kicking off her high heels, and opening a can of whip ass!

2.    It is often lamented in the catfight community that many of the Hollywood directors "don't get it".   Many times when female combat takes place........a man always runs in and breaks it up.   Not to mention, the choreography sometimes is questionable, and the action often looks faked or staged.  The Catfight Report gets the feeling this won't be the case in Bare Knuckles.  Can you elaborate?

Eric Etebari:  No guys butting in on this film. They are all on the sideline smelling the roses as the chicks kick ass!  I used nothing but stunt women so I wouldn't have to worry about any wimpy actresses breaking their nails and complaining about their hair. We shot so fast.............I needed girls that knew how to fight..... and were not afraid to get down and dirty!   This Director.........“gets it!”

3.   What is the Bare Knuckles story all about?

Synopsis:
Women will go to extreme lengths for those they love and single mother Samantha Rogers is no exception. With her seven year old daughter Milla, in need of special care, Sam struggles to make ends meet, taking her licks as a stunt woman by day and waitressing at a rowdy country bar at night.

When Sam uses her skills to avoid  a bar fight between two drunk women, down and out fight promoter Sonny Cool (Karate kid’s Martin Kove) sees an opportunity to get back into "The Show" a high class, but highly illegal all female Bare Knuckle fight tournament, where brutality and elegance mix with high stakes and deception.

To provide for her family, Samantha is forced into taking Sonny's offer.  Is the price too much for her...? “Bare Knuckles”.....................a knockout punch of strength and determination inspired by a true story.

4.   Be honest with us.   Was this Bare Knuckles production more about telling a story......or was it more about giving us hot blooded males and females one of our favorite life pleasures?   (2 women going one on one)   :)

Eric Etebari:   It was both. The true story element gave me the confidence to get behind such a remarkable family (Jeanette and her daughter Teya) and tell this story. But I have to admit..... I might make female fight films for the rest of my life!  Who could ask for anything more!  Girls, girls, and more girls all shapes, colors and sizes.  I love them all......

5.   What are some of the biggest challenges you have faced producing this film?

Eric Etebari:   Besides having never directed a film and getting investors to give me a shot as a first time Director it was talking people into seeing and believing that this is a growing sport and trend. Women can be sexy and tough........ or better yet........... very sexy and very tough!   Hello, they just added Female boxing to the 2012 Olympics in Brazil.  I can’t wait to go!!!

6.   Are you a fan of catfights or female combat yourself?   If so, explain your preferences.

Eric Etebari:  Catfights. They are way more hands on and way sexier.  Hair and sweat going all over the place, clothes being ripped off, and, and, and, and...........oops...........did i just say that?

7.   The female combat - female wrestling - catfight community is looking for a friend in Hollywood to give us a reason to keep going to the theater.    Would you be interested in doing more films like this if the catfight community came out in droves?    What other ideas do you have in the works?

Eric Etebari:  Bare Knuckles #2 “Black Gold”.  Boy, the ideas i have for this one!  I’m going to take it to another level.  The female version of 300.  I’m going to add elements of water, wind and mud. Yes, that’s what I said!  Move on over male Gladiators and Rambo’s..... you bore me.  Look out for the new girls in town!   :)

8.   Who do you think would win in a real life fight between Bridgett "Baby Doll" Riley (Mona) and Jeanette Roxborough (Samantha)?

Eric Etebari:   That’s a fixed question!  Your going to get my butt kicked by one of them if I answer that .  You’ll have to see the movie and decide for yourself.  :)

9.   When is Bare Knuckles set to be released and where can people view it?

We just landed a foreign distribution deal with Curb Ent and are in negotiations for domestic theatrical release. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for that theatrical release. That would wake Hollywood up to what’s going on!

10.  Please list all the places fans can learn about Bare Knuckles on the internet and please close with any neat or interesting stories or anything you want to finish off with.

Eric Etebari:   Right now you can view the cast and some info on IMDB.com we should have some more info soon.

Our website is still under construction:  (view limited info here)

I have two things I would like to share. First we had Jeanette’s real daughter (Teya) play the role of Jeanette's daughter in the film.   The kid was great......but at some point someone must have got to her because at 10 years old in her first role she was insisting we shoot only two takes

I wasn’t going to argue with a mother's child. No Way!  She was great and stole the show when her scenes come up. The other one was when we where shooting the final fight at the famous Castle Kashan in Malibu.

All of a sudden Anthony Hopkins shows up.  That’s right Anthony Hopkins

The whole place is buzzing, everyone is taking his picture, and talking to him. My mother, Jean Ferro, who was the photographer on the film started to talk to him. Before i knew it...... she said he would like to be in the film.  Wow!

So everyone started coming up to me saying Anthony Hopkins wants to be in the film. I think I went into shock because I started asking for things we did not have. I was like.......... “bring in the helicopter for the aerial shot!”

My aid said........... Eric there is no helicopter!  Oh.  :)

I then said.......... “bring in the 40ft crane, I need to get this shot! “

He again replied............. we don’t have a 40 foot crane!

He then pulled me aside and told me to take a deep breath and then get back to my scenes. I truly believed for a moment I was on a multimillion dollar set with Anthony Hopkins.  I guess you could call me a day dreamer. Once i gathered myself I walked over and introduced myself to him  He was very kind and very curious. He seemed very interested in this topic of girls in the ring.

I walked him around the castle away from all the crew and explained the story to him. He then said... let’s shoot a scene. I said...... I don’t have a helicopter or 40ft crane. He laughed and said......well...... you have a camera don’t you?  Oh yes I do!

Anthony Hopkins walked in and do an improv during a scene we were shooting. He was great! He lifted all of our spirits and gave us great enthusiasms to get through the rest of the shoot.  It could be one of the greatest experiences I have had on set!  Believe it or not the scene did not make the cut but will be added it to the behind the scenes extra’s footage.

I do have plans to put him in Bare Knuckles #2.

The one thing i learned on this film is “Anything is possible if you truly believe in it”.

Thank you Eric Etebari!

Catfight Fans!
This is our opportunity!   Chances are Bare Knuckles will be playing at the theater soon.  We need to get out and make a symbolic showing here.   We can show Hollywood that not only are we female fighting fans "out there"..........but we number in the millions!   The best way to keep up on this project is to join Eric on Myspace and Facebook on the Bare Knuckles pages.

Meow!
