Catfight Report Website Review and Interview: Girl Fight Comix

Many fans of this genre love art and comics that depict female vs female catfights.

Art, ironically, is the name of the gentleman who runs a website called Girl Fight Comix.

One thing I like about this website is that it is a small website that is very easy to navigate and very easy to understand. Purchasing a comic is very simple as well. You can purchase all of the catfight comics that are available simply by clicking on one of the album covers that are displayed predominantly on each page of the website.

As a customer, you can download the catfight comic INSTANTLY in PDF format and please note that some of the comics are more than 40 pages long!

The comics are priced primarily in the $15 range.

When you consider the tremendous amount of work that went into this by the artist......it's really a great deal if you sit back and think about it.

We here at the Catfight Report are interested in learning more about the website and we want to help catfight consumers make informed choices when possible. We did an interview with Art Ardoni and here is what he had to say.

CATFIGHT REPORT QUESTIONS WITH ART ARDONI
ARTIST AND CREATOR OF GIRLFIGHTCOMIX:

1. How long have you been drawing Girl vs Girl catfights?

ART ARDONI: Roughly, since 1997. Although I’ve just discovered some drawings dating back to 1995. I’m starting to sell off some of the stuff I’ve used for stories and some random stuff. But those early drawings won’t be in the mix.

2. How did you first get into doing this? What was the impetus? Do you remember?

ART ARDONI: I thought it would make me some supplemental income. I met a guy who was drawing all out porn and drawing it very quick. So I started offer my services. Oddly enough, every magazine I sent stuff to said they already had a stable of artists. I say oddly because I actually thought a lot of people wouldn’t admit to doing that kind of stuff. But as I started watching stuff on the internet, I thought that I could probably start my own magazine. It’s something I can control, both in content and deadlines. And I can use it whenever I need a few extra bucks.

3. How long does it take you from start to finish when it comes to completing one of your comics?

ART ARDONI: It depends. I have other non-catfight assignments which make it hard to devote to a long-ass story. I have a frequent customer who writes me these long, long, repetitious stories (where one girl hits the other again – and again --- and again – and again--- while talking --- and then holding her up --- and hitting her with a left – then a right – then a left – then a right – then a left – then a right …. ) It’s endless! He doesn’t realize that each punch and kick is, in itself, an individual drawing. So I wind up with as much as 70 drawings that, when realistically, I can only create 3-5 a day. So you do the math. For my own stories, I try to keep the number of panels down. I am my own best critic so I think of new ways to crank out 5-7 black and white or color illustrations a day. If I’m not drawing at least five, I’m making life difficult for myself.

4. What all goes into rendering your comics? Essentially, from start to finish, what kinda things go through your mind and how do you set everything up?

ART ARDONI: For the commission stuff, I read the stories people give me. I don’t want to sound snotty but I have yet to receive a well written, cohesive story. It’s all muddled with inarticulate details that, only by reading further, you find out that both girls are wearing stockings or some bit of clothing that has to be ripped off. – I’m drawing chicks nude and then have to go back to dress them because the writer forgot to mention that up to a certain point she was wearing a skirt or bra. – And, that she had a tattoo – which then I have to go back and draw in the tattoo where I can. On my own stuff, I know exactly when I want to say and show. So I write out a simple outline then find photo references that can help me show what I need to show. I used to think “Photo references??? – That’s so lame. It’s cheating.” But then there is not a comic book artist or illustrator in the world that does not use a photo reference from time to time. Alex Roth, Neil Adams, even Will Eisner. So whatever I can’t find I draw. Then I go to photoshop and design the panels and/or pages, compete with word balloons and narration. The gradually I work my way through the story in sequence, one illustration/panel at a time.

5. On your website it says that you accept commissions. Can you explain how this works?

ART ARDONI: As I said, I get these really horribly written stories. LOL – Then I have to read them again and again and re-write them and send them back to the writer and basically ask permission to draw it my way while writing him a laborious explanation as to why his story does not work as written. I will charge $10 per black and white panel and $15 per color panel. And you can tell I’m an honest guy because a lot of these stories result in something like 70 to 150 panels. I could make a bundle – but I try to talk people down in price. – How many artists do you know will try and get you pay less for their work instead of more??? HA!

Before we agree to work together, I explain my schedule. If that’s satisfactory, I proceed like any other story and I try to send them a certain number of panels every week until I am finished. I haven’t received many calls for weird stuff. But I will draw the line at beastiality – and will fuckin’ call the cops if I get anything with kids!! – I have absolutely no patience or tolerance for pedophilia and so called incest stories about daddies and uncles. That stuff makes me angry to no end, I cannot tell you!!!!!

I had one guy --- it wasn’t pedophilia he wanted – but commissioned me to draw a series of illustrations of a “neighbor” of his. His story was that in the apartment complex he was living in, this irl was the local whore and, according to him, everybody hated her and wanted to see her punished in some way or another. – So he had me draw up a girl with the neighbor’s likeness, in all sorts of extremely cruel, blood, sado masochistic poses – including being impaled on a fence post and barbed wire. He said that the photos I had been working from were stolen from her apartment by the “landlady” and that all the neighbors were impatiently waiting for each draw that I would send one by one.

He feared this guy was lying, of course, and tried to get him to tone done the blood and punishment but when he wanted more violence, I called a halt to it. – And desperately wanted to contact the girl (if it was indeed his neighbor) to warn her not only about the guy who fantasized about her assorted impaled scenarios, but that the landlady was getting into her apartment and rummaging through her stuff. People give me all sorts of scenarios.

6. What draws you personally to the catfighting fetish?

ART ARDONI: Now I told you the impalement story to set up my own interest. – The truth is I don’t know where this interest comes from and I resolve it to just "to each his own."

My earliest exposure to catfighting was the Popeye cartoon “Never Kick A Woman.” In it Olive Oyl gets her ass kicked by a sexy Mae West woman. – But my heart went out to Olive Oyl.

I didn’t like it even though Olive eats the Spinach and beats up the sexy lady boxer even worse. – Isn’t that funny? I didn’t mind it when Popeye and Bluto mixed it up but Olive??? – I sort of didn’t like seeing her get hurt. Even today I don’t like uneven or one sides matches. I find no joy in just hearing the loser cry and say no more. On television, I always saw lady wrestlers as these short, fat, dumpy, ugly human refrigerators in tight bathing suits. – They looked like Teletubbies with small bumps that passed for tits. Then I saw this movie called WRESTLING WOMEN vs THE AZTEC MUMMY and – wow – they actually had beautiful actresses kicking ass. Unfortunately, the asses they were kicking were the fat ugly teletubbies – but my fantasies were ignited.

Then I saw the usual progression of stuff on TV and movies. "From Russia With Love", "The Amazons", the women’s prison films like "The Big Bird Cage,". . . . "All the Marbles". All of which showed me that attractive girls could look sexy fighting -- especially without underwear or clothes. When I got older, I knew girls who liked to fight. In high school, when girls wore no bras or skimpy underwear, the big breasted girls were the best to watch because, in the heat of battle, they popped out of their boulder holders for the world to see -- and they didn't care!!!And they too were not shy about stripping off their tops and bottoms in private fights. And in time, I was privy to some private matches set up by friends of mine that started or ended topless or nude and someone getting “rewarded.”

But really, I don’t try to dissect why I like it so much. I like the cute perky girls with the tomboy edge, the big titted trash talkers, the Quisha’s and Alecia’s of the field who are atletic and will throw themselves into a video battle for their time allotted one hour video.

7. What are some of your favorite websites out there that relate to this genre?

ART ARDONI - Man they are everywhere now. So goddamn many. – I am a perv when it comes to this.

I likes me the naked girls. The NWWL is hot even though I know it's naked WWF shit. And I really enjoy the sexual elements of ULTIMATE SURRENDER. They're cranking out some hot-ass shit. Bitchfightuk.com has been very friendly towards me. J ROLENS puts out some great videos. ( He used to do what I do, you know. – Now he’s crating live action catfight videos with beautiful big titted babes like JEWEL MARCEAU and DANNI ASHE.) – And one of my favorite Yahoo Groups is Ultimate Female Fighting Links. They have loads of pics and vid clips and the moderator is super hyper-senstive. Anything gets him angry and he writes these rants about how people don’t appreciate his efforts and shit. But he really is a catfight and female boxing fan. I like him even though I don’t know him personally – but he’s also so fuckin' funny -- without knowing he is.

8. Who are the top 5 women in the world who you would pay to see in a catfight and why?

ART ARDONI:

ALECIA: I don’t know her full name. She's this big breasted short blonde that looks like she was stripper at one time. She wrestled for Joan Wise Production, Jaguar and Green Eyes. She is “OH GOD’ so cute, short, nice perfectly round breasts (alas they are fake but who cares). You can see a lot of her vids online if you look hard enough and you can buy/rent her vids online on assorted websites. – She’s tough and wiry and you get the feeling that she really pisses off her opponents – especially the ones who get her back and inflict pain on her, She’s doesn’t fake a thing and loves a good facesit. -- My favorite video of hers is TIGRESSES where she fights this super-model looking Latina redhead. Full lips, hot body -- totally nude throughout. -- Yes, my right hand enjoyed it too.

QUISHA: She fights for a lot of folks. Right now most of her stuff is on Sabre Studios. – I have stuff on her when she was in her teens and twenties. Today she still looks pretty good and she is so very tough. You rarely see her lose and she has the sensual eroticism each time she is in battle. Espcially when she fights in the nude. She’s not afraid to go for the tits and crotch. And she is a joy in ecstasy when she is in victory.

JESSICA SIMPSON: Yeah she’s a hack singer and pseudo star. But she reminds me of a few girls I knew. Her deer in the headlights look off set her inner strength. She’s got a great body and – even though in real life – she has shyed away from a catfight—I would like to see her and Brittney Spears in a match.

BRITNEY SPEARS – Yeah, I had that fetish when it was kind of creepy for guys my age to have it. – And I still do – But I would pay to see an 18 year old Britney have an all out naked rumble with Jessica – then Lindsey Lohan.—and Avril Lavigne – and Vanessa Hudgens – Wait That’s more than five.

(70's Porn Star and Catfighter) ANNIE OWENS: God she was hot in an old school way. Girls back in the 70’s were more natural and Owens had such a natural body and attitude about herself. Even when she fought girls like ROSEMARY LORENZ (another natural saggy titted beauty).

Face it, not every girl has perfectly rounded eliptical boobs. Some girls are hot with their clothes on and then you take them to bed and find out they sag here and there. But I like a girl with floppy tits if she carries herself well and shows off her nasty side. And Owens was an awesome fighter who did that, smothering her opponents with her tits. So fleshy you wish you could mess with them too. (Gave great head too.)

9. Where else can fans find you on the internet? Any Yahoo Groups, Myspace Pages, Facebook Pages, etc, that you would like to share?

ART ARDONI:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TeenageCatfighter

FACEBOOK: Art Ardoni – I’m afraid to post any of my pics cus the best ones are nudes. And that’s what got me kicked off of YAHOO 360.

I also have a gallery on DIANA THE VALKYRIE but I think you have to join that to see it. -- Most groups don't have my artwork in their folders. I dunno if that's good or bad. -- I just don't think I'm that well known.

10. What are some things people can expect to see from Girl Fight Comix in the future? Any neat ideas you have coming up or anything you wanted to try that is maybe new?

ART ARDONI: I am working on a story that someone wrote about a mother/daughter tag team who fight their similar aged mother/daughter counter parts from next door. The mothers are in their early thirties and the daughters are 18. I have assorted stories for my couples wrestling series called CROSSTOWN MATCHUP. (That’s where the male nudity comes in.)

Females have written in to tell me they want more male “frottage” (cockfighting) and submission holds. Gay Guys are asking for “happy endings” We’re still debating that one.

AT THIS MOMENT I am posting FREE CATFIGHT VIDS that are long running (more than 2 minutes) some as long as 1 hr. I also am going to post more art for sales as well as a full GALLERY of my work . I hope more come to the site and give me any constructive criticism or ideas you have for stories. I’m always happy to hear from everyone.
