Michelle Collier vs Tia Ling - When Things went Awry

Often times in this business the communication between producer and fan is not clear.

Michelle Collier and Tia Ling were paid to have a competitive matchup with catfight rules allowed. The customer requested that if the girls did not want to use catfight tactics...........all he wanted was a good, hard battled competitive matchup.

It did not go that way.

Tia traveled to meet Michelle and it seemed to be on.   However, signals got crossed, and what transpired was certainly not a strongly competitive match in any sense of the word.    It ended up being a scripted, tussling scenario, where Michelle wanted to be the pre-determined winner and then give Tia the next win when they would meet again in Cincinnati.

Is that what the customer wanted?   No.

Now, Michelle and Tia are not big fans of each other in real life.
