Celebrity Boxing: Hailey Glassman vs adult star Gina Lynn...........and more!

Gina Lynn

VS

Hailey Glassman

Reports claim that Hailey Glassman will be taking on adult star Gina Lynn in a celebrity boxing match this May 7th of 2010.

The event is called Celebrity Boxing 19 and is scheduled to take place at the Polaris Concert Hall in Philadelphia.

It's essentially a matchup of the reality star mistress (Glassman - age 22) vs a porn star (Lynn - age 36).

As if a female celebrity boxing match isn't enough..........more controversy is swirling!

The referee for this matchup is the ex girlfriend of Jesse James ex mistress......Michelle "Bombshell" McGee.....a tattooed stripper model who is anything but shy when it comes to letting her feelings be known.

Michelle McGee

What's surprising about all of this is that Hailey Glassman and Michelle McGee REALLY do not like each other.

Reports claim that Jon Gosselin's ex gal pal Hailey Glassman is furious that Michelle is going to be the ref for this fight.

Hailey stated the following:

Glassman told RadarOnline.com that while she is contractually obligated to fight in the match, she wants nothing to do with McGee who has a swastika tattoo and the initials WP tattooed on her legs. WP often stands for White Power, although McGee denies she is a White Supremacist. McGee has been photographed wearing a Nazi arm band.

Glassman, who is Jewish, is highly offended by McGee and confirmed she will not be attending a promotional news conference for the fight on Wednesday and plans to “make a scene” if Michelle shows up on May 7 with her controversial tattoos exposed.

Meow!

Not to be outdone...........Michelle McGee came back with some fighting words of her own.

“Oh Hailey, you’ve talked a lot of c**p about me being trashy. Look at you, the pot calling the kettle black, as if you’re not the queen of being easy and sleazy! Let’s see how much s*** you talk when I’m refereeing your fight with Gina on May 7!”

Not enough?

There is more!

Michelle seems to be juggling two battles at once as she is also been embroiled in a hot battle of words recently with TV star Chelsea Handler.

Chelsea Handler

Here are some samples of some of the verbage flying back and forth at the moment.

Michelle McGee on Chelsea Handler:

"You need to hire another midget to hold up those saggy boobies of yours... all that breast feeding from Chuy has really taken its toll." (Chuy is Handler's assistant.)

and

"Dear Chelsea, glad to see my grandma's old clothes put to good use in your wardrobe. Her mu-mu's look AMAZING on you."

and

"Chelsea, here's some free advice: Use some of that Botox from your forehead and put it in your flabby underarm skin. I've seen better wings in a bucket of KFC chicken."

Chelsea Handler on Michelle McGee

"First of all, look at my forehead, you dumb b****, okay? It moves ... You have a tattoo on your forehead, so you have had a needle in your forehead -- and probably Jesse James' b***s. So shut your face."

and

Chelsea Handler started the fight when she wrote on her E! blog, "Michelle really believed that Sandra Bullock and Jesse were separated and was 'shocked' to see them together at the Oscars. I guess she doesn't read magazines, which makes sense since she basically has one on her face."

Again............MEOW!

With all this feuding going on..........maybe we need more than one celebrity female vs female boxing matchup coming up here on May 7th!

Comments regarding the Celebrity Boxing Series that aired on Fox in 2002

Well, it's been 6 years since Fox held Celebrity Boxing part 1 and Celebrity Boxing part 2.
I was pretty excited about this at the time.

Not because of the males you dumb-dumb, but because of the women!

The women, in my estimation, were not overly attractive, with the exception of Darva Conger, in my humble opinion. In terms of talent, if we overlook the quality of attractiveness, that was lacking as well.

What I was impressed with, was the CONCEPT, and for that, I give the people at Fox major kudos.

In terms of the female bouts, there were 2 that took place.

Celebrity Boxing Part 1 - Paula Jones vs Tonya Harding
Celebrity Boxing Part 2 - Darva Conger vs Olga Korbut

(side note: Joanie "Chyna" Laurer had a mixed match with Joey Buttafuoco in Celebrity Boxing part 2)

Now to me, these don't seem much like "celebrities".

Known, somewhat, but nothing of the caliber of a Angelina Jolie vs Jennifer Aniston match. Or a Denise Richards vs Heather Locklear, or a Britney Spears vs Christina Aguilera, or a Paris Hilton vs Lindsay Lohan.

So, either the producers didn't try very hard to get combatants, or they must have garnered a lot of refusals!

Don't know!

In any case, I feel the advent of a yearly or bi-yearly FEMALE CELEBRITY BOXING extravaganza would be a big boon for an ambitious network.

I have no doubt that there are many sexy celebrity females out there who would love the chance to punch out another female celebrity if given the opportunity in front of millions.

In fact, if you know anything about Hollywood, and the personalities there, I would think this would be a foregone conclusion.

Not to mention, I imagine it would be very profitable for the people holding the event.

In any case, you can watch the Darva Conger vs Olga Korbut match right here:

Conclusion:

I loved the idea, but the superstars and quality were indeed lacking.

However, I do think this could be brought back to life if the right people got behind it.

What do you think?

How would you feel about a FEMALE CELEBRITY BOXING show coming to life?

Is this something that you would watch?

Is this something you would pay money for?
