Catfight Report Movie Review: One Million Years BC

ONE MILLION YEARS BC

Nothing like a good ole prehistoric catfight.

Especially when the catfight involves two of the hottest women to walk the face of the earth!

Unless you have been living in a cave.......no pun intended.........Raquel Welch and Martine Bestwick had a catfight that aroused men and women alike for years on end.

The tagline of this movie which was released in the United States in 1967 was:

"Travel back through time and space to the edge of man's beginnings...discover a savage world whose only law was lust!"

"Lust" is a good word to describe the feeling one gets when taking a look at the two women who headlined this movie. Meow!

Raquel Welch stars as Leona, a hot sex kitten who finds some lucky dude named Turnak after he collapses on a beach. After saving his ass, Leona takes him back to his tribe and nurses his wounds.

The tribe ends up getting jealous, and kicks Turnak to the curb. Leona ends up leaving with Turnak, and off they go to fight dinosaurs, reptiles, and serpents. Oh my.

Indeed, you will not buy this movie because of it's stunning special effects, nor it's extremely non engaging storyline.

The only reason you will buy this movie is because when Turnak and Leona wander back to the Rock Tribe territory...........Leona comes face to face with Turnak's old girlfriend.........."Nupondi the Wild One."

And a wild one she is................Meow!

So Raquel Welch (Leona) and Martine Bestwick (Nupondi) have a very wild catfight.

Nupondi and Leona wrestle over some little item and suddenly an angry Nupondi wrestles Leona to the ground. Nupondi grabs a stake and tries to stab Leona while she is down, but Leona shows her strength and powers Nupondi off of her.

The two women then jump to their feet, and wrestle around a bit more as Nupondi gains the advantage and slams Leona down to the ground. Nupondi bashes her head against a rock and then jumps up and grabs a flaming stick.

Leona grabs a stick in defense, but Nupondi quickly slams it to the ground with her own flaming stick, and starts lashing out at Leona. Leona dodges all of the blows, ducks down, and flips Nupondi over her head.

Both women jump back up, and Leona grabs a rug looking thing, and flips it through the air as she knocks the flaming stick of Nupondi's hand, and then smacks her under the chin with the rug as Nupondi lands on her back.

(The best part is next)

Leona then sexily mounts Nupondi on the ground, and pins her down with some type of dinosaur hoof. The cavemen chant that the want Leona to "finish" Nupondi as they hand her a very big rock.

Nupondi looks up at her dominant aggressor knowing that the end has come.

However, Leona spares her pitiful life, and the catfight is now over.

I must say........this catfight is not the best one you will ever see. But, the women involved are extremely sexy, and a young Raquel Welch mounting Martine Bestwick at the end makes it worth the build up and watch.

More than likely this will be a famous catfight for a long time to come and most likely will stand the test of time.

Catfight Report Exclusive Interview: MMA and Muay Thai female fighter Felice Herrig!

CATFIGHT REPORT EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW:

FELICE HERRIG

As everyone is well aware by now, the female fighting world is gaining momentum.

One of the young, sexy females leading the charge goes by the name of Felice Herrig.

She is an American kickboxer, and she will have no problem kicking your ass if you step out of line with her. The "Lil Bulldog" as she calls herself, currently uses a mix of boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai in her fights.

Currently, she fights for the St Louis Enforcer's team in the World Combat League. She got her start on a girl fighting series called "Fight Girls" which aired on the Oxygen network in 2007.

We did a small report on Felice Herrig back on October 2nd regarding her desire to take on another sexy fighting girl...........Lisa King.

Felice agreed to an interview with us and we asked her some pointed questions regarding Lisa King and some other topics relating to female fighting and catfight interests.

Catfight Report Interview Questions with Felice Herrig!

1. What in your life was the catalyst that made you decide that you wanted to fight and compete against other women?

FELICE HERRIG: I am a very competitive person by nature. I grew up watching my dad train. I was always super athletic and loved being stronger then all the girls, and most boys. The very first day I stepped into the gym I knew I wanted to fight

2. A big controversy has been swirling lately about you calling out Lisa King. One myspace blog I posted on says that what you said was "disrespectful", and that you are disgracing the idea of "Mixed Martial Arts" with such comments.

I have also heard rumblings that you did not "go through the proper channels" to arrange the fight and that challenging her in public was immature.

It has also been said that you just want to fight the "Name" of Lisa King, and that is why you called her out. What is your response to each of this criticisms one by one?

FELICE HERRIG: Lisa King doesn't have a "name in mixed martial arts" that is actually the main reason I want to fight her. She tries to promote herself as this bad ass fighter.....yet......she never fights!

I have knocked out more girls then she has fought. I didn't even ever officially call her out in public. I had many organizations contact her about fighting me and she declined each time.

Because she already knew I wanted to fight her, she talked about it on "Unholy Matrimony", so I only retaliated to that response. She then continued to talk about it in other interviews. I just defended myself.

I'm sorry she can't take being called out. The only way to settle it is in the ring.

"Talk is cheap" and she doesn't want to back up her words. I, on the other hand, am more then willing to settle the feud in the ring. There is no disrespect in me calling out another fighter and for her to try and turn other women in the sport against me because I have challenged her is immature.

She can continue to talk and I will continue to fight. That's what I do best...Apparently she is just all talk.

4. I noticed the video where Lisa King said she would "even fight you in the street", and this was after the interviewer asked what she would do if he could set the fight up for both of you. What is your honest opinion on why she won't fight you?

FELICE HERRIG: That's funny. She will fight me in the street but not in the ring..hahaha..

I think the answer to her not wanting to fight me is obvious. Hmmmmm if someone wanted to fight you what would be a good reason for turning the fight down over and over again?

5. Would you like to fully address the Lisa King situation in further detail that was not covered above?

FELICE HERRIG: I have nothing else to say. I want to do my talking with my fists and perhaps a nice front kick to her face. She won't fight me so why bother talking about her? She had her chance to say what she wanted to say to my face when she cornered Kate Meehan for her IKF title fight against me. She didn't say anything to me. If she has something to say she can say it to my face rather then posting blogs on the internet. If I have something to say to her I will say it in the ring.

6. If you could pick any 5 girls in the world that you would like to fight, who would they be and why?

FELICE HERRIG: I refuse to answer this question. And the reason is because all the girls I have verbally talked about wanting to fight have gotten offended and talked bad about me and tried to say I disrespected them. Even though I have not talked bad about them. I have tried to fight many girls who choose not to fight me and I continue to try and fight them and they continue to turn the fights down. I would like to eliminate the drama and just plead the 5th. But feel free to post this response.

7. Many of fans of this genre find two women fighting or wrestling very sexual in nature. Others watch it because of the intense competitive nature of women in general. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

FELICE HERRIG: What can I say? Men will continue to be perverts. I think most men watch the sport of mma for the sport itself. But when it comes to female sports I think most men watch because of the sexual nature of it. I wish that wasn't the case and I know it isn't for all men. But I really think that most men prefer to watch Men in sports. Its just the macho side of them. But when they watch 2 females....ehhhh lets just say men have some weird fetishes.

8. What are some of the big differences between MMA and Muay Thai? When you transition to MMA, what are some of the new techniques you will have to keep in mind and master?

FELICE HERRIG: MMA does stand for mixed martial arts. SO it is a combination of all the different fighting styles. Muay thai is all standup with punches, kicks, knees, elbows and clinches. MMA allows you to take the fight to the ground if you wish to, and work on your wrestling and jiu jitsu. There are certain techniques a muay thai fighter can throw that they have to be careful with in mma. For instance the front kick (or as others call it the push kick) the reason for this is because your opponent can catch your leg and take you down to the ground. This gives them points for the takedown. It also brings the fight to the ground where alot of muay thai fighters might not be comfortable in.

I am pretty well rounded in my standup game. Making the transition into mma I really have to be aware of takedowns, takedown defense, avoiding submissions, and wrestling.

9. I must admit I have watched many catfights between females in my time. I have seen big girls demolish little girls, but at the same time, I have seen many little girls demolish big girls. Do you feel we will ever see a time where they weight classes in female fighting may not hold as much weight?

FELICE HERRIG: There is really no way to predict that. I think that as the sport of mma grows and as more females are given the opportunity to showcase their skills that there will be a variety of woman in many different weight classes. Big and small. And as much as people have always like to watch heavy weights fight because of the knockout percentage I think that they lower weight fighters are quicker and scrappier. This leads to much more exciting fights. I am just waiting for womans mma to really take off like mens. But this is hard when not many organizations are willing to give woman a chance.

10. What other neat little niche stories or tidbits do you think our female fighting and catfight fans might be interested in hearing?

FELICE HERRIG: As of right now I should be fighting my first mma fight Feb 21 on the UWC card. I'm super excited to make the transition into MMA. Wooooo-Hooooo!

It will be a new challenge for me.

I plan on doing big things in MMA.

A Real shoot boxing match between Madusa and Aja Kong!

Do you remember Madusa from World Championship Wrestling? (WCW)

Her real name is Debra Miceli.

Not only did she play a tough gal on TV, but she is actually a tough gal in real life!

Madusa, also once known as Alundra Blayze also wrestled for the American Wrestling Association (AWA) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

I found on a video on Fem Fight Tube of Madusa taking on a big lady named Aja Kong.

Aja Kong is well known in Japan, and like Madusa, is a very tough woman in real life.

Real catfight between lovers Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson took place recently!

Have you ever heard of Calum Best?

Nope.

Me neither.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson claim to blows recently, reports claim, over some guy named Calum Best.

Unless you have been living in a cave, Lindsay Lohan is a bi-sexual woman.

Hot stuff........I know.

The two women went out for some drinks and some dancing somewhere in London, when Samantha eyed Lindsay dancing with this Calum guy. Things got heated, Samantha got jealous, and the two women started trading blows on the dance floor.

It was claimed that the two women were screaming like "banshees". I have never heard one of those scream before, but one would assume that the women must have been screaming rather loudly.

After it appeared they had made up, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson went at it once again in the foyer. Reports claimed that Lindsey was spitting at Samantha and clawing cattily at her chest.

Obviously, Samantha Ronson wants Lindsay Lohan all to herself. (who wouldn't!)

But, when you are a hot babe like Lindsay Lohan, you get your pick of the litter.

We predict here at the Catfight Report that if these two women were to go at it, Lindsay Lohan would have her way with Samantha Ronson. No disrespect meant to Samantha Ronson, but we do feel that Lindsay Lohan would take her in a fight! :)

A young Vivica Fox in a wild catfight!

Female Wrestling on VH1's Real Chance at Love

An interesting segment aired on Vh1's reality show called a "Real Chance at Love".

The two men who are at the center of the show had the girls that are competing for them to engage in some tag team female wrestling action!

(I like the thinking of these fellas)

Side Note: One of the women called "Milf" is former fitness female Ahmo Hight.

The females only had 1 hour to train, but were trained by professional female wrestlers Hollywood, Christie Ricci, Onyx, and Malibu.

Whatever happened to the WOWe Women of Wrestling Promotion?

Sure, it was a bit corny.

A bit cooky.

The booking was grade school poor............

But, they had some really hot females!

I am talking about the old WOW Women of Wrestling promotion that existed for a very short time between October 2000 to March 2001.

Do you remember that female wrestling promotion?

You know, the one with very little talent at all, that basically tried to revamp something old that didn't work well into something "new"...........that was exactly the same thing?

The promoter of the WOWE was non other than David McLane who was the founder and creater of the all female wrestling GLOW promotion back in the 1980's. Jeannie Buss was an owner as well.

If you have watched GLOW in the past, you can see that David was obviously using the EXACT SAME FORMULA with this new promotion.

The announcers were David McClaine, Bobby Heenan of WWF-WWE-WCW fame, and Lee Marshall who was once involved with WCW.

For those who remember, they aired 20 1 hour episodes and only 1 PPV before calling it quits.

The wrestling roster included the following females:

Rumor has it that Gene Simmons of Kiss actually tried to help revive WOWE when they ran out of money after their first and only PPV..........WOW UNLEASHED.

But, alas, the old "family friendly" formula did not go over well.

In this Catfight Report editor's opinion.........."bad and sexy" can take a promotion a long way. We all like a little bit of T&A. Many of us like women who are bad girls and can kick ass at the same time.

I am all for another female wrestling promotion.

But, hopefully, in the near future, they actually hire females with real talent, and realize that they do not have to follow the "pyschology" of other wrestling promotions to be massively successful.

So all in all I feel like it was a good effort, but it came up very short.

Rob Zombie's New Animated Film - The Haunted World of El Superbeasto - contains nude catfight!

For those of you like there that love a good animated catfight........look no further than Rob Zombie's new animated production called "The Haunted World of El Superbeasto".

Rob Zombie started this project in 2006 and it is still ongoing.

The first scenes of this movie were unveiled and a nude catfight was shown between two of the animated characters in the film.

One is a big breasted blonde named Suzi-X whose voice is done by Sheri Moon Zombie.
(she is the wife of Rob Zombie)

The other, is a sexy character called Velvet Von Black, who is played by non other than Rosario Dawson.

This has been described as a "knock down, drag out, and eventually topless catfight" by a website called the Defamer.

Is a Jennifer Aniston vs Pink catfight in the works?

Usually if the words "catfight" and "Jennifer Aniston" are used in the same sentence.......many people think of Angelina Jolie.

However, news emerged today that Jennifer Aniston is absolutely furious with pop singer Pink, and has ordered her friends not to converse with the eccentric singer.

It all stems from some type of argument Pink had with Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend John Mayer.

Pink said the following:

"I got into an argument with him. He said something along the lines of, 'I only snog really stupid women', and I said, 'I guess they would have to be.'

"I don’t get him and Jennifer at all."

There is some confusion here, however, as Jennifer Aniston seems to think that Pink was insulting her directly. Pink on the other hand, claims that she was mad at John Mayer for making comments like that, and that she was actually defending Jennifer Aniston.

Will a catfight erupt?

We will be keeping an eye on this one if it continues to develop.
